  • Custom interior formatting: $75/hour (starting rate, subject to increase based on complexity of project)

  • Custom cover: $100 (batch of three drafts, unlimited corrections included, includes placement on print-ready template)

  • Incorporation of author-specified text edits: $50/hour

  • File upload assistance: $50

  • Galley/printer’s proof: approx. $10-20 (based on your book’s specs)

  • Marketing package including a custom-designed social media graphic, list of 5 comp titles, assistance with sending review copies and setting up e-review copies, email newsletter set up, research on local author readings: $300

  • Pitch of your book to Kirkus Reviews, Publishers Weekly or Booklife, and/or IndieReader: $25-$1,200

Our Process

Consultation and Planning

Together, we outline a path forward that’s realistic, strategic, and tailored to your specific needs. You’re part of the process, and every project is different. We stay flexible and responsive to make sure the process fits your flow—not the other way around.

Drafting and Correcting

I will send you full finalized drafts of the interior and covers (if purchased). You will review the drafts, and then we will go through a round (or several) of correcting/changing the formatting and text, if needed. We work one-on-one via email, phone, or Zoom to ensure that we’re on the same page and your book is coming to life exactly as you’ve dreamed of.

Proofing

Once files are finished and perfected, we will order a galley/printer’s proof to quality check the feel and look of the book, and make sure it’s ready to hit the shelves or be gifted to family/friends.

Ordering, Selling, and Marketing

Once the proof is approved, we’re ready for ordering, selling, and marketing!
