My name is Ellie, it’s great to meet you!

I’m a typesetter and book designer based in the Washington, DC area. I’m passionate about working with self-published, independent authors.

I have a BA in English on the Publishing track from the University of Iowa, where I learned the basics of design before honing my skills after moving to the DMV in 2024.

When I’m not busy designing, I love to read (duh), try new coffee shops, hit up the thrift store, and hang out with my cat, Toast (who you can see in the picture to the right in her magazine debut)!
